Just a reminder if your planning on coming to watch our athletes compete at Regionals than book your hotels ASAP as they are all filling up quickly in the immediate area . Also, we will be ordering T-Shirts for regionals – Support our Box and purchase a T ! Let me know your size as we are placing the order this week.

Regionals May 25-27 th

In a few weeks Northeast Regionals will be upon us and O-side CrossFit will be sending 2 top finishers in Northeast men and women individuals , Ian and Rachel. We will also for the first time be sending a Team!
The Box will be closed those dates ( memorial day weekend).

Come to Canton, Mass and support our Athletes in their quest for the games!
All are encouraged to attend the regionals for a weekend of great crossfit competition. Make your hotel reservations and enjoy the Boston area!

Open wk 2 overview an awesome performance by All!!!

Wk 12.2 is now behind us and we have all been challenged by our efficiency, technique, endurance and stamina. There has been a lot of discussion on the 1st 2 weeks of programming , but overall it has been very consistent and definitive of the philosophy of crossfit; testing our overall fitness in burpees over 7 min and our ability to move large loads quickly in a short amount of time!

Movement Standards
This workout begins from the standing position with the barbell loaded to the starting weight. In the Snatch, the barbell goes directly from the ground to overhead in one motion without stopping at the shoulders. This can be a muscle snatch, a power snatch, a squat snatch or a split snatch. A clean and jerk is not permitted.
